Hydrotherm – Fully Automated Hydrolysis for Fat Determination

Hydrotherm is the world’s first and only automatic acid hydrolysis system for fat determination according to Weibull-Stoldt.

Features:

  • Complete digestion and filtration runs in a closed system. The unit can be operated outside of the fume hood
  • Laboratory personnel will not come into contact with hot liquids and acid fumes
  • 6 samples simultaneously and results within 3 minutes. More than 36 samples per day
  • It is totally a walk-away system thus no personnel needs to be present during the running process
  • Ideal for very inhomogeneous sample matrices, large sample weights as well as samples with very low fat content
  • There are 3 independently controllable modules and each module can be fully software-controlled, checked and documented
  • The processes of all 3 modules can be seen on one screen
  • Central parameters such as fill quantities, heat energy, duration of the heating and cooling phases and the number of rinse operations can be defined separately for each module
